So I searched and read on here about our bad oil dipstick, I didn't see any alternatives or work arounds for this problem. Anyone find a solution?

As a follow up to my own post: I decided to take out the dipstick put the orange part in a vice and smashed it to similar to a pancake after I took a hammer in gently tap the opposite edge of the orange plastic to take off the orange now flaky plastic. now I have a regular dipstick. prior to doing this I marked the measurements of high and low oil lines from the orange dipstick to make sure I can reference them once the orange plastic was off. hope this helps
