Please help.
It is hard to start the car. I need to wiggle the key in order to start. It goes well but I need to put pressure up or down and the car will start. It is not smooth and sometimes I need to try more than 10 times. As soon as it clock it starts correctly so it is not the battery or the starter.
I change the ignition switch for this onehttps://www.autozone.com/batteries-starting-and-charging/ignition-switch
and it works a little better but still I need to put a lot of pressure up or down when I turn the key to turn it on.
Any ideas. I thing is the cilinder where you put the key. The piece is identical but the factory it is a little loose compared to the new one.
Any idea how to work it out. The dealer want to charge me 100 to 150 dollars just to check it plus the piece I bought it is more than a hundred dollar pfor the same piece I bought plus a 100 dollar for 5 minutes installation or less.
Can I change it to a push start aftermarket to go away from changing all the key mechanism?
