Hey guys got a strange question and cos it's strange I can't find any info at all. Basically I have a GD3 with the CVT and it's starting to go, juddering under acceleration etc. and i'm looking at swapping instead of repairing, but i'm wanting to swap for the conventional auto box. I'm in New Zealand and as far as I can tell the Auto came in the GD1 but I can't find any GD3's with the auto, but there are tons of auto boxes for cheap, has anyone done anything like this? Any ideas what it would take? Because the auto doesn't seem to be as common as the CVT I can't find much info, also because the CVT is commonly called 'Auto' it screws up any kind of search.

Because the CVT is bad I can't sell it for a 'proper' Auto, also not interested in a manual at all, this is the work commute and spends 2 hours in traffic a day, not even remotely interested in a manual work hack.
