i tried a search but it doesn't appear to be working on my work comp

i'm just wondering if the auto trannies for the 09 Honda Fit are CVT or not

i will be purchasing a Canadian model as i reside in toronto

from the honda.ca site there's no mention of CVT but on wikipedia i see: "The engines are mated to a 5-speed manual, 5-speed automatic, or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), depending on the region (CVT not offered in United States)."

so it's not on the US cars and hopefully this means not on canadian cars too then right?!

<- not a fan of cvt transmissions

Canadian Fits are available in only 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. No CVT.

 

I think overseas only has cvt.
