Bought the car january 2024 after totaling my 6 speed gk5🫠, but car was completely stock/untouched zero rust(south car) except a cheap sound system,164k miles og engine+trans, purchased from a family friend who was 4th owner(got them receipts) n had for several years for $3k, it had some wear and tear on the outside it being as old and having as many owners as it does, but the inside was pretty immaculate, so i threw 2 mtx 12s with an mtx amp in for some bump


then after a field trip to the ole pull a part i came home with a 2013 tsx steering wheel(no airbag) for a better feel while driving

general maintainence after that, sway bar links stared being loud so swapped those for duralast(temporary) and did an oil change while it was up, r1 rotors+ pads as it was time for rotors,got tired of monster truckin so i went with the cheapest springs i could find(manzo=mistake) its super bumpy right now but the springs gave it some forward rake(ew)


So me being the ding dong i am i made a trip to home depot the next day and got 240lbs of sandbags to load the rear, removed spare and loaded her up and its settled pretty level for now and the rear feels much more planted, but very very bouncy. next up is a set of megan coils to get her smooth yet again(advice welcome on coil recommendations)

as of 5/29/24 i plan on going scoop up either some 02 mr2 stocks or 2nd gen miata stocks(15) this weekend will update once purchase is complete

If you want to see better at night maybe replace those old headlights with a new set plus some LED bulbs like the Morimoto 2stroke 4.0 or GTR ultra 2.0

 

im planning on it lol probably gonna get a pair of new plastic lenses and take em apart replace blah blah, but yes leds are a must
