what is your gass mileage?

my automatic fit sport has only given me 21 miles per gallon on my first 2 fill-ups, city driving. why so little? it is supposed to get 31 in city. what are other people getting? this is very disappointing. maybe it gets better with more use.

I am in the exact same situation...I love this car, but the main reason I got one was the supposed "Good Mileage"...I have put about 610 miles on the car and the gas mileage still sucks...what gives?

Thumbs up 37mpg

I picked my Fit up with 320 miles on it. I'm a little over 800 now, but so far I have averaged 37 mpg.

I probably won't draw any conclusions until I put atleast 2k miles on it or so.

After about 1000 miles my average city has been 35-36MPG, did a small road trip and got 39MPG. Getting ready to go coast to coast here next month and hope to go over 40MPG. Got 3600 on the obm. now and the car feels as though the throtle response is better and it feels quicker now that it has broke in a little,

i'm getting approx. 33mpg in mine. i drive it pretty hard most of the time, and that's about 60% city driving.

HUGE discrepencies here - gotta think we're missing some variables: driving style and ethanol blends come to mind....

For me - only filled up once off of dealer tank (unlreliable measurment) but ended up with 33.1 mpg with 75% highway, 25% mild surburban stop/go - AC on the whole time, driving conservatively in D (no paddle shifting)

I've been getting 15-16...mostly city driving w/AC. Dealer ran a dyno yesterday and results came back 40 mpg...

I dunno, I guess I just drive THAT aggressively? Any other possibilities?
