GPS Adapter stuck in power accessory outlet!
Hi All,
I am new to these forums, and I've seen some really helpful posts. I figured I'd ask this here since I can't seem to fix this on my own. I have a GPS with an auto-charger that I hook up regularly in our 2009 Honda Fit Sport. The tip end of the charger seems to have separated from the rest of the assembly and gotten wedged into the accessory outlet. I have tried to pull it out with needlenose pliers, but it will not budge. I have pulled to the point of splintering some of the plastic wedged in there, but it still will not come out.
Should I try to disassemble the dash to get better access to this area? I have never done this before so I am hesitant. Any other advice?
Thanks,
Matt

As far as I remember there are only 2 small panels you have to remove, remove the top one first then the one that has the acc outlet. Disconnect the acc. outlet, once the panel is removed you can pry whatever's stuck easily since there are little openings on the side of the outlet. Use a flat screwdriver wrapped with tape or towel to avoid scratches, the panels just pry right off.
