hey guys,im newbie here and i got a used gd3 and when on idle you can hear the air sucking from my stock intake and the sounds fade away when i press the clutch?..is this the intake im hearing or something else?..thanks!

 

sounds like the pilot bearing on the clutch

 

is this different from throw out bearing?..

 

i dont have any problem shifting tho...quiet and smooth..

I have a gd3 as well and have noticed the same thing happening to mine . I took it to the dealer to see what the issue was and they told me its normal in just the same way that when you turn on your a/c there is a slight drone for the first second since you are creating more drag on the motor . Many people notice that the rpm might rise a very small amount as well .
