Greetings,
I am actually an Honda Insight owner, but we share a lot of the same suspension bits and pieces. I actually was trying to post something in the classified section regarding my hunt for a set of Canadian Fit LX 5 spoke wheels like the ones below, they are very reminiscent of the original Insight wheels to me, and think they would look great on the 2nd gen Insight. But I was disallowed, perhaps because of 0 post count. Anyhow, anybody know offhand how many posts I need before I can make use of the classifieds forum?

I think you can post an "ask" in the general forum, as you've done, rather than needing to go to the classified website. Might be more of an issue if you wanted to sell something. My two cents only, not representing site mgmt.
It's possible those wheels float around in Canada a lot - no idea how many they sold - but I know they are a desirable find in the US. I think they are lighter and very aerodynamic vs steel with hubcaps; and much newer than old Insight wheels.
Myself, I would not sweat it. I think you can find lighter wheels than the alloys on the Insight 2nd gen, but they'll be expensive -- the original wheels are light already, as befits an economy-oriented car. Good luck though

Awesome guys, thanks so much for responding. I actually have taken to calling tire shops in BC and a today a guy gave me the name of some salvage yards to call. I will start looking that direction tomorrow. I really want to find some that are near perfect though, so we will see how things pan out. I am sure I am going to be able to glean a lot of relevant information from these forums. I love finding places where people are enthusiastic about their cars. I just put the second tank of gas in my Insight and got 42.6 MPG! Pretty awesome.
