Gated shifter

Are there any options to get rid of the shifter boot and have some kind of gated H shifter? I personally don't much like the way the boot looks, and would love to have a polished metal gate (if it is possible to mount one there)

I tried to fab one when I first got the fit. There simply is not enough shift lever movement to have much visible H pattern. It basically was just a cloud looking design.

H-fit made one but it wasn't gated it was just a plate with a square in the middle. They shutdown though. I have one I'll take a picture later and post it up.

Have you used a gated shifter? They're not actually very pleasant. There's a reason very few car companies use them...
