Cool 2014-2015 Honda Fit LED Headlights CoPlus

I quoted on the price for the coplus headlights

"Thank you for your email and inquiry about our FIT/JAZZ LED headlights.
Our FULL LED headlights for FIT/JAZZ can fit on the US edition, but please note that our headlights assembly comes with low/high beam, position light, and turn signal, but without side-marker lights. The total price for 1 set headlights is US$1,540 (product US$1,300 + express US$240), but please note that we are not responsible for import duty and taxes if it’s occurred."

COPLUS INC.

OEM LED headlights for my 2015 Accord Sport were about $1600USD after shipping charged and a conversion wiring harness, so $1540 isn't that bad.

I have just ordered the CoPlus LED headlight and they came out to $1200 USD including shipment to Canada.
As soon as I have some time I will attempt to install them (hopefully this weekend)

If I had that kind of money to throw at a car I wouldn't be driving a FIT.

Thank you for your smart replays but I don't think anybody has to justify how and where he spends his money. If you are not interested in the thread go b1tch somewhere else.
Nobody asked for your life decisions.

The top of the line HID system for my BMW is < 1000. From BMW..
I'm a total headlight whore,, I like to read letters on low flying aircraft.
they better work really really well for that amount..

Dr1v3r,,, This is a discussion forum and you responded with a price in your post
and gave an opinion, you didn't expect responses?

The price was for informative reasons for those who would be interested. It was not a question for opinion of what would you do with $1200.
I will sure not share any more info. I was thinking to put together a review on how they get installed and work and build... But this sure changed my mind

I am assuming for your bmw your HID it was an add on to existing headlight not a compute set of headlights.

Nope its an entire headlight assembly just like the Honda but 4 headlights..
ZKW makes them for a lot of cars. (they also make a lot of factory lighting. )

Honestly whats the deal? the comments were not abusive just people expressing opinions.. You may not have asked but the OP did.. So you got in the fray..
I think most of us are WTF?? on the cost considering the original price of these cars. My BMW was almost 60K new (I'm the second owner I don't dig depreciation) The factory original HID was a 2200 dollar option in 2005. I had a moron tag the front grill very lightly and managed to break both of the units so I got 2 new ones.. and the replacement OEM manufacturer set was < half the original upgrade cost from BMW (Another WTF moment Gives me a headache.. )

FWIW I just had to change the bulbs, $320 EACH from BMW or 28 each on line.. I be a cheap bast^$d so guess what I did..

CoPlus should be about $1200-$1300... Nice lights... There are alternatives for those who don't want to spend that much. If you got the dough, even better...

Honestly why the hell are they so expensive, did they really blow the banks on researching how to fit a projector inside a mass produced housing?! Seriously thats way stupid of a price. I can see 400-500 for the pair of housings and then add your HID, LED, etc, but whoa $1500 bucks I hope that company goes out of business charging those outrageous prices.

Because JDM bragging rights yo.

Also, fwiw, most of the time with JDM stuff the price tag is indicative of their quality. I looked at coplus's website and they spared no expense on the photography for the products, so I'm willing to bet they spared no expense on the design of the product.

Bragging rights huh? Thats a high cost for it. Hard to keep up with the Jones with those prices. Almost better to grab a set from a junkyard where the car got rear ended, separate the sealed housings, put the projector in yourself and save hundreds of dollars. $1500 thats a damn mortgage payment!

Hey I totally agree lol. Although I come from the 370Z/G37 scene where $1500 is actually pretty reasonable for a set of headlights to be modded. I've seen people pay almost $3k with 180customs for halos, demon eyes and paint. Hell, I personally know a guy who has almost $250k into his 370 with every unicorn JDM part that exists for that car. But I digress. You hit it right on the head, I plan on just modding an extra set that I get off of eBay with some projectors and call it a day.

The cheap prices for parts for this car still amaze me. Even on eBay a set of used headlights for the 370 goes for around $800 to $1,000, and brand new for $1,800 from Nissan for the new Nismo housings. I found a used housing for the Fit for $80, my jaw hit the floor hahaha.

I highly recommend not buying those headlights in the picture quoted. One thing they don't tell you is that those 3 strip of LEDs (normally your parking lights/turn signals) flash when the headlights are turned on. I bought these and asked the seller if this was a defect, and he said no that's how they're designed... okay, wtf?

So long story short, I'm in a dispute with this seller and will not buy any more car related products from Aliexpress.
