2018 Fit cupholder phone holder/charger

The left side cupholder in my 2018 Fit is kind of the perfect spot to put your phone. Has anyone found an elegant solution that holds your phone and allows you to charge your phone (preferably USB-C)? I have searched and found nothing, I've considered jerryrigging some kind of solution together and routing the the wire down.

I had it setup that way at first, but I've since changed it closer to the touch screen as it's easier to see while using for navigation. That's a magnetic mount that I used for my cell phone.

So I know I'm just a lurker and don't really post (own an '18 Fit EX), but I can add something here! It's shown up on these forums elsewhere but nowhere near as often as I would expect. More common in Japan, I believe, but a very nice solution I think you're looking for!

The link to the ebay page for the mount itself (and yes, it works on RHD and LHD models):

I want this...but I have CarPlay. I am tempted to run a cord under the dash and have it stick out at the cup holder though.

I like that! You can still keep the cupholder, but I'd have to route the charging cord around. I was kind of thinking about just Velcroing a USB C dock in the cupholder then I can just sit my phone in it.

Yeah, I was thinking of that and connecting it to a dock in the cupholder. Hopefully the dock will transmit data.

Thats my current setup, I wanted to try to separate them more. Less screen all in one area. I like some of the other things in that thread! I need to make that cargo cover.

Now that I've done both, I like it near the touch screen as it's more intuitive to look at when I need tot phone for navigation.

Thanks my car is a work in progress. Nothing too crazy as it's my DD so I'm just trying to make it more comfortable doing the commute.

I found this custom mount and it's the best mount I've ever used on any car:

I repurposed a saved SM429-SBH Arkon phone holder that wouldn't fit in my other cars. It Fits perfectly in the 2019 GK Fit:

I like that Tsuchiya Yack holder fit dedicated smartphone holder SY-H4 phone holder. What is the resulting diameter of the cupholder with teh SY-H4 installed? (I had to purchase a new thermal coffee mug to fit in the Fit).

Having had one, it doesn't really intrude into the cup holder, rather it uses the side hinges to hang off of. As you can see, you have to reach over the phone to reach your drink or set the phone lower hoping that it doesn't push hard onto the side buttons.
