I think that's being a bit extreme.

The OP asked as a pre-purchase check into whether it was a good deal. Nothing wrong with that. Fact is, it isn't a very good deal. I hope that info is helpful in him saving some coin.

Knope volunteered that his deal was bad. I'm assuming he knows that it was bad and simply made that choice to rebuild credit, as a first loan, or whatever. Again, nothing inherently wrong with that. Sometimes we have to make the hard choices.

Yeah, i needed a car and i needed reliability. Building credit is a pain point, but with each refinance it gets better. I think i'm somewhere around 6% since the last refi.
