Hello. I recently transitioned from a 2-dr Yaris hatchback to a Fit. The Yaris treated us well but we needed a bit more room and easier access for gear and pets.

I used an Ultragauge EM plus in the Yaris to supplement the very minimal instrumentation in that car. I had all three pages showing RPM and speed at the top (I drove a MT and didn't like the central speedometer and lack of tachometer) plus coolant temperature. In the remaining three data fields on the different pages I had battery voltage, distance to empty, and the full suite of fuel mileage stats, with auto cycling between the pages. Worked pretty slick.

My Fit (2010 Sport AT) obviously has better instrumentation, except for temperature and battery voltage. I've been reading about the Ultragauge MX and the possibility of manufacturer gauges/sensors that might be available.

I've tried looking around but can't find any good information regarding the Ultragauge MX in the Fit. Has anyone used an Ultragauge MX with a GE8 Fit? Can you confirm if you can read additional manufacturer gauges? Specifically, I would be interested in the transmission temperature and engine oil temperature. Are those available?

Thanks for the response. This device certainly looks "prettier" than an Ultragauge or Scangauge, but I'm not worried about pretty and only interested in accessing information not provided by the Fit Sport gauge cluster: principally transmission temperature and engine oil temperature.

I can't find any information on the website you linked to that tells me how the Lufi XF will work with a GE8 Fit. Multitudes of five star reviews seem great at first, but are not informative if they don't actually say anything about the functionality of the device.

Can you comment on how the Lufi XF works with a GE8 Fit. Does it display the information I am specifically interested in?

Long story short : it has everything you want displayed. Looks pretty, is cheap and you can update the software by downloading the latest file through the manufacturer's website. Do a search and have a look at the youtube videos recommending the device
