Which generation of fit did you choose and why did you choose it?
I bought my then wife as first new car a first gen Fit when they first got to the US. The commercials were ridiculous, but we liked the style of the car, the sporty handling, the fuel economy, and the versatility of the interior.
When it came time to purchase my first car, the Fits were still looking good to me. I really liked the styling of the 3rd gens, but after doing some research decided to go with a 2nd gen for the simpler interior, stiffer chassis, better steering feel, and they were about 1/3rd the price on the used market. The 1st gen car was a bit unrefined and despite stiff suspension, had a noticeably flexy chassis under load.
My first 2nd Gen was a bit of a project car, unfortunately getting totalled just before completion. The replacement got the same treatment, and despite some mechanical issues from the previous owner/shop it's been a great car with some minor chassis and suspension mods.

2nd after I saw rumor's and renders of what the 3rd will look like. Plus the engine is still being used for Formula F, genuinely played into the decision. Figuring parts should be easier to find for longer.
Also because it had the least amount of tech in it vs other cars at the time too. Choice paid off, because the interior isn't looking as dated as other cars from that time (Chevy Cruze... if it's still running that is, looks SUPER dated on the inside)
I now sell Kia's believe it or not, their cars remind me of what Honda should have turned into. Simple, well thought out interiors, nice weighty steering, spending lots of time on visibility. Everything Hondas used to be in the past. Even so, having driving everything from BMWs/Audis to a terrible Chevy Spark, and owning a NB Miata, I realize even more how good of a choice I made with the 2nd gen Fit
