Cruise switch fix
Cruise switch fix
The CRUISE CONTROL POWER switch, ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL, is a known failure item. Not staying clicked, in the on position. But what to do about it, when it fails?
A new switch for my 11’ Sport with NAV, uses a $170 wiring harness that serves both the LEFT & RIGHT side steering wheel switches. If you can get by with just the right side harness, you will save $100.
An even cheaper & easier solution?
There is some wiggle room LEFT AND RIGHT, with the switch.. A lil gel superglue down either side of the switch, then depress & hold the switch. And wedge a very small item on the NON-glued side of the switch, till the glue has dried.
Of course you will never be able to switch the power off, but I never did anyhow.
You are welcome.
