New replacement Fit for my old 2005

TL;DR: Old 2005 Honda Fit not worth fixing due to its resell value. Want to upgrade to a much newer fit but don't know what models to avoid etc.

I am located in NZ, and I think most of this sub is based in America? Either way, we mostly get our Honda Fit's second hand from Japan as an import.

My 2005 Honda fit requires a new engine mounts, swaybar links and struts. I feel it's outlived what's worth to fix. I could probably sell it for maybe less than 3k NZD if I got it fixed, considering our bonnet has paint chips and rust and the rear left window doesn't work. It would cost us almost 1.5k to fix it all up.

So now we want to replace it with a new fit, as I really do love how it handles and it has been a great car, besides the first gen CVT issues.

I don't know much about the newer models.
I have quite a few options, where 2016 might be my newest option, unless it's really worth paying more for something like a 2018 model.

What Honda fit do you recommend to upgrade to? Something with fantastic reliability? (Has to be automatic). Models to avoid?
We have some options for 2014-2016 hybrids.

Are all Honda fit's from Japan MADE in Japan? If that even matters anymore now a days?

Fit Replacement.

Guess I'll have to ride my 2007 Honda Ruckus all year around.
