Horribly depressing, I hope the Fit makes a comeback some da in the US. Maybe a performance model, that would be cool. Just hopes and dreams though.

Is that really the last ford car? .. this truck/suv/crossover trend is ridiculous.

Yep at least in the US, here they still also sell the Fiesta and Focus, but the Mondeo seems to be dead? Also there's the Puma which is barely a CUV.

I think the SUV has taken over for the Fit. I would not want to buy the lousy SUV based on Fit chassis. What do you buy as a hatchback to replace the Fit?

Wife went from the Fit to a Golf and it was a nice upgrade. She's now in a 2.0 Accord, but will probably go back to VW next. They drive better.

A Civic Si hatch would be perfect for me, but they'll never make one. If the regular hatch had an option with an LSD, I would have gone for that.

@hasdrubal , Honda has introduced a Civic Hatchback, but yeah, no SI as yet.

The 3rd gen fit is fat enough at 2500 lbs, but the civic is officially a boat now and so is the carola...

...and ?apparently the yaris was discontinued in 2020 for the US market as well... https://www.toyota.com/yaris-family/

That Civic hatch isn't even a proper hatch but more like a liftback. Which makes sense because it's much bigger now, about the size of the 6th gen Accord, and cars that big are usually liftbacks
