Will Honda bring the Fit back?
Here on the west coast in Canada, the cost of regular fuel is over $6 per gallon. Prices are expectd to last well into summer.
At this rate, i don't think the electric/hybrid car sales can keep up with demand (there's expected to be a shortage of vehicles until 2023-2024)
As a result, small vehicles with small displacement engines are going to become far more valuable than they've ever been.

Yeah. Echoing what many have said already. With Ford out of the small car business and the other companies reducing their small car production, Honda should be able to ramp up as they only just shut down production lines. With years of cheap gas and people buying trucks they don't need, the new prices should spur a lot of interest in high mpg cars again.
I'm still over 37 mpg on my 2010. My wife has a 2018 Toyota Camry and is getting near 44 mpg. The shock of high prices affects us much less than my friends with 12-17 mpg trucks.

I, for one, would build a fleet to last the remainder of my years living.
