bumper guard

Well, I guess it was bound to happen at some point. I live in a college town, and someone backed into the front of my Fit. The hood is curled up, the bumper cracked, and the passenger fender pushed out. It was a hit and run, so I'm hoping my insurance will cover it. I only carry liability, but in VA you are required to carry uninsured motorist coverage, which will hopefully cover it.

Once it's fixed, I was thinking about trying to put some kind of bumper guard on the front, almost like what you see on a pickup truck. Does anyone make something like that for the Fit? I'll be rolling around and looking like Mad Max with a big ol bumper guard, haha.

Something like this might help... a little, or maybe destroy your bumper even worse

Now I like that idea. I wonder if someone can custom build me a Mad Max style front bumper!?!?
