I've a 2016 Fit, and I had a close encounter of the wall kind: I scraped my side mirror, and the plastic(?) housing was knocked off. I was able to snap it back on again, but now I'm wondering if it'll fall off again when I'm going down the freeway at speed and hit a bump or something. Is this something: 1) I needn't worry about, or 2) I can take to my local repair shop, or 3) Needs to go the the dealer for a guaranteed repair? Thanks.

 

Can you pull it off by hand easily? It's probably fine, if it snapped back in place.
