What type of Schrader valve for GD3 for AC service ports

Hello,

I will be recharging my AC and wish to replace the schrader valves before doing so. Can someone please tell me what kind of valve I need for the job? Do I need a "regular" or JAS type valve for the Honda Fit high side and low side service ports?

Thank you

I see my post isn’t getting any replies so I actually just took out the valves to check.

both high and low side A/C valves are JRA style schrader valves. Not super rare but harder to acquire in my city. My local parts store do not appear to carry them.

if anyone knows the diameter, I would love to know. I think it is 5 to 6mm.

hope it helps someone.

I bought mine from Amazon a couple years ago when I replaced the low pressure core which was completely shot. It was simply a Schrader valve for a R134a car refrigeration system (R134a is the coolant in my 2018 Fit). There's a sticker in the engine compartment which lists the coolant. Don't remember which one I bought, there's a number of listings.
