Looking for Info on Hybrid Models

Hi all,

I'm looking into getting a Fit or Jazz hybrid, but I'm having difficulty finding definitive information on them, likely because they weren't available in North America. I previously owned a 2007 GD3 and liked the car.

Here's the info I'm looking for:
-Were all hybrids offered in manual, excluding 4th gen?
-Were all hybrid manuals 6 speeds, or were 5's offered?
-Which engine did the 3rd gen manual hybrids use? Is the same 13.5:1 compression Atkinson cycle engine as in the automatic hybrid, or is it carried over from the CR-Z at 10.4:1 compression?
-Which gearbox did the 2nd and 3rd gen manual hybrids use? What ratios? Do they have the same short final drive as the CR-Z?
-Did the Fit hybrids move to lithium with 3rd gen? I believe 2013 is when the CR-Z moved from NiMH to LIon.

Thanks!

Hybrid Fit Information.

You should go to your local Honda Dealer to have these specific questions answered.

Just so you know,
Hybrid Fits are not available or will be for the foreseeable future in the U.S.

I'm aware the Fit was canceled entirely in the US (I lived there until 2 years ago), but it remains one of the most popular cars worldwide, and the US was always a relatively small market for it.

The dealers here can't answer these questions, they have no information on how vehicles are equipped, other than ones they order new from Honda directly. When asked, I was told, "if you give me a VIN, I can get some information on that specific vehicle".

Wikipedia doesn't even list the engine available in the Fit/Jazz hybrids. It's not even listed in L series engines, despite there being tens of millions of them floating around.

It might be an exaggeration, but best I can tell, the Fit/Jazz hybrids share drivetrains with the Shuttle, Insight and Insight Exclusive, Grace, Vezel, Jade, City, and HR-V, and in many overseas markets the hybrid variants have made up a majority of sales for more than a decade.
