Mileage gen 1 vs 2 manual

Hi . First post!

I own a courier service that does small things like flowers and pharmaceuticals and food.

I have my own fit and after much thought I’m going to buy fits and stop requiring bring your own car.

Looking at gen 1 vs 2 and noticing city driving is 27 mpg for gen 2 and 33 for gen 1.

Over 6 vehicles and 300 km per day this looks like $15000 per year difference.

Perhaps more expense if driving semi hard which is the idea behind the manuals. (Let the guys DRIVE)

it’s all stop signs and stop and start afterall.

only thing is the gen 2 car is more aesthetic which i know matters to florists when you pull up to homes bringing their very expensive product

thoughts on the city / drive hard gas mileage difference between gen 1 and 2 ?

other thoughts on advantages one way or the other for me ? With business tings in mind.

thanks yall

They're all between 11 and 17 years old at this point; just try to pick really clean rust-free examples and hopefully your clients won't realize how old they are.
