I am new here, so Hi Everyone. Great site.
I am looking for a NEW Crate L15A7 FIT engine or 2 for a 2009-2012. It seems they don't exist, according to HPD or any of the tuner vendors I have contacted.
However, I can't believe there aren't 1-2 sitting in a corner of someone's shop, right next to the Unicorns :>
If anyone has suggestions or leads on how to get them, I would appreciate your reply. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey, welcome to the forum! About the L15A7, yeah, it's tough to find new ones since they stopped making them. Maybe try Facebook groups or Honda forums – sometimes people sell them there. I'd also check with local tuners, they often have parts stashed away.

PS. Keep an eye on auctions too, sometimes stuff pops up, you just gotta be patient. 🙂

 

Welcome! Yeah, those engines are super rare nowadays. You could try checking with some salvage yards, engine importers, or niche Honda forums/groups—sometimes people hoard stuff like that. eBay or Yahoo Japan might also be worth a look. Good luck with the hunt!

 

There is no "crate engine" sold from from Honda for the Fit so you won't really find one outside of an engine importer. Honda sells their engines in parts. Not a complete ready to bolt in unit. So you will need a break down of the engine, it's part numbers, and order it that way. But there never was complete "long blocks" from Honda. They stopped doing that style of replacing engines back in the 90's. The most you can buy complete is a bottom end. But it doesn't come with the head.
