Technically they're both 5spds... :P

I got the manual.
It's at least 1000000000x more fun to drive.

I couldnt imagine driving an automatic, especially in a 109hp car... thank goodness for the 5spd, it really makes the Fit feel fun to drive.

Only Flaw I see is that a lot of fit enthusiasts will be manual drivers...and many if not most Auto Fit buyers won't know about the forum....sure I might sound short sighted and narrow minded. But I see a larger amount of fits driven by middle aged women and elderly people.

Yeah funny thing is every time I drive by a dealer and i see a fit i might stop by and take a look to see if its a manual or automatic and I have yet to see a manual tranny fit. Mine is stick (i know both versions are 5 speed, my mistake) but I also concur that most people who drive the automatic version of the Fit are probably gas conscious older people who really don't care about performance so they're probably not on this forum.

I still like my auto.

I have manual first and second, D3 that stretches the shifts the harder I tromp the gas and shift into D around 80 K.

I always start off in 1st. in cold weather to stop the tranny from shifting cold.

there are a bunch of guys in here that have opted for the auto cause the long wait of the 5spd they were not going to deal with...if my only choice was only automatic i would not be in this forum

Not to attack Paulo107, but you guys make it sound like an AT is somethign to be ashamed of. I HAD to get an automatic because no one else in my family can drive stick. Becasue i'm a mechanic, i take everyoen elses car and they drive mine. I also do LOTS of rush hour driving in downtown vancouver and a manual gets REALLY annoying. Dont' get me wrong, i LOVE driving stick, i used to have a STI, but at this point in time, an AT works alot better.
