Some much needed advice...
Yeah this is so true, phoning doesnt work at all. When i bought mine, I was told it would be there in 4 days. They wanted me to put money down, i refused to do it unless they could garuntee me that my car would be there in 4 days. They promised, and wrote it into the contract, so i put my money down. The next day they called me and told me it wasnt going to come in for 3 more weeks. Needless to say, i was pissed. I told them i wanted a bunch of free stuff or i was coming to get my deposit back. They agreed, and i ended up getting a bunch of free swag from the parts department (in the end).
So anyway, i waited the three weeks, no calls, no follow ups, so i call down, the salesman told me its in the holding lot an hour away, but it would be two more weeks until they could get it on a truck to the lot... I told him he better get in his car and drive his ass down to bring it back that day, and he basically laughed at me. So im pissed, wait a day, call back, hes out of the office, but i get a nice lady who id dealt with before (Kathy) who goes to find out whats going on with my car, she calls me back 10 minutes later, has the VIN for me, tells me my car might show up the next day and shes going to make a few calls to see if she can get that to happen. So the next day, i drive down there and see what appears to be my car coming off the delivery truck. I go inside find my salesman and ask him whats going on... He tells me hes really sorry, 3 more weeks, they have too many deliveries going on and cant get it on a truck. So i go talk to the sales manager, casually mention i think i saw my car coming off the truck, and he verifies, yes, its being delivered that day... Go and find my salesman, tell him hes a jackass, went back to his boss, got my keys, signed the papers, gave them my old keys, got a bunch of free stuff because i got treated like trash, and drove away.
Whitby Oshawa Honda is terrible. Second car i bought there, second time ive had terrible service. If you ever go in, ask for Kathy. Shes the only sales rep whos worth a damn. Both cars i bought she wasnt even my salesperson, and she helped me out more than they ever did. If i wasnt able to bargain so well with them, id never ever go back (Both cars combined i saved over 4000 dollars and got them to pay me top dollar for beat trade-ins).

you want better service, go pay more money at another dealership. dont expect the best service, and best price. want the best service, pay for it.
It seems like a lot, but over the next week the other dealers contacted me through email and made vague offers without breaking down specifics and were even higher.

I would ladly pay a little more to deal with responsive, courtious sales managers than ahole salespeople who can't take the time to give you an accurate quote.
