resale

Due to circumstances, I need to sale my fit. I have it posted on this website as well as autotrader and a local sales paper. I have already lowered the price to 15,500.00 and still have no calls about the car. It has been listed about 6 weeks now. Am I asking too much or has the supply caught up to demand?

Considering I just bought a new Fit Sport AT for 15,600 I'd say lower it a little bit more.

I did purchase the extended warranty which was a little over 1 grand and from what I can find out it is transferable. Maybe I should check into cancelling the extended warranty and lower the price some more without it.

Also try Buy New & Used Cars, Research Prices, Sell My Car, Find Auto Dealers to run your ad. Keep in mind that advertising your car on fitfreak.net won't help- the people here already have a Fit.

AT, sport, I have added the floor mats and had the windows tinted. I really hate to get rid of it as I really enjoyed driving it and especially when I pull up to the pump. I had a 1/2 ton truck that I pull my fifth wheel camper with and needed a 3/4 ton. In order to buy it I had to sell the old truck and the Fit.

I'd say drop the price about $500 and see if there are any bites.

It's the very first one under classifieds, complete car. Sport AT, red, 9,700 miles, floor mats, tinted windows. Asking 15,500.00, but appears I should ask 15,000.00. Not sure where you are at, but, I'm willing to put it on a trailer and deliver within 250 miles of Johnson City, TN.

Dont lower it. Take it to a local Carmax. You'll probably get MSRP.
Used Fits are going for around $2000 over MSRP on their site. They usually add about that much to the price they bought the cars for.

Carmax is your friend (unless you work there, like I did)

Thanks for the advice. I think that there is one in Knoxville about 100 miles away. I'll check it out.

It's not too bad. The interstate is about 1 1/2 miles from my home and I can be in Knoxville in about 1 1/2 hours. We drive down for some parties in the fall that there just happens to be a football game at.

You should be able to cancel the extended warranty and get a prorated portion back.
