Test drove a 08
I test drove a Red 08 Sport today & all I can say is Nicceee.....This was my first time on a Fit. The Fits 5 speed is one of the Best I driven. I had it for 50mins...and give it the Old..... One-Two. Red line comes on too fast on this motor, just when the power is coming-on strong..U hit the 6,500 Red line. A 7,200-7,500 RL would be sweet. The Fit Handling is very good for stock car, all I would need here is some 17s. I may have to skip on Red and the 5speed trans, I'll take the auto. Black or silver might be the color for me. Over all, this is a great little car. Now if I can only sell my 96 200sx SE-R, I'll then will have the down-payment for this Fine little car.

thats awesome to hear you liked the car. It is def worth the money, but as for powerband??? and getting to redline??? car is slow and feels like it takes ages to get to redline
LOL, Well, lets just say first gear redlines too quickly..
Yeah you get a good bang for your buck with the Fit, it truely is a great little car. As far as the RL isuue i kinda agree, alittle higher redline would be nice, but not needed for me. It would just get me more tickets. Id rather have a good handling car then a fast car, and the Fit definetly handles!

Gary, I am also a former SE-R owner. I was freaking obsessed with those cars. I had a '91 Sentra SE-R and a '98 SE-R. The Fit is the closest car I've driven since them that I actually feel a personal connection with.
Test drove the manual and that was a whole different story
same here. i feel the power come in around 4000rpm-ish and then it's a freaking journey to redline. the first time i pushed my car i expected a kick around 5 or 6k but it never came, and it never will (sadface too) but i love this car for many other reasons
Yes.. I've met U storm on SE-R meets. The 1.5L is no "Nissan 2.0L" But, when I drove that Fit, I flit like a 10 year old with a New PS3 game!! Very Nice..
