Buying a Fit, am I getting a good deal?
Hey everybody.
I'm new here and I am in the process of getting a Fit within the next few weeks.
I just left the dealership and they quoted me a price of $15942.89 out-the-door, tax doc and titles fees included. The particular one I was quoted on was a 2007 Fit Sport with a manual trans. MSRP on the sticker was $15762. They gave me a $500 discount due to the fact they have 7 on the lot and no one is buying them right now.
Do you think this is a good deal, or should I coax him down some more? Seeing how quick they came off the price, (this is the first price they gave me for it) and I didn't even bargain at all for this, I think I could get some more out of them. And this is the only manual on the lot; the salesman said that they could hardly sell a manual of any kind, except for Civic SI's.
Let me hear what everyone thinks.
Thanks

Lucky. All I got was a lousy $50 discount off the MSRP and I talked them into giving me free floor mats. They said that they couldn't give me a better discount because there is such a high demand and they need to make a monthy qouta. Great deal!

Me too, but since the guy I made the deal with was Korean, he gave me a lot of accessories free of charge!
If you Korean, go find yourself one -- it never fails.
Discount on a Fit!?
I purchased my 07 Fit Sport auto just over a month ago. Paid sticker less their $199 doc fee and they said they'd provide accessories for dealer price. Basically paid sticker but was extremely displeased with the 'dealer price' issue. They offered a lousy $4 off the all weather floor mats. I found an online Honda dealer and purchased them for less than $190.

Man I went to dealers in Daphne where they were going off their side sticker bs and would only come a little off the side sticker. Then we to Mobile and they offered the car at sticker but their financing tactics were a little shady. Finally we ended up getting my car in Pensacola at sticker. We live in Robertsdale and if we would have known about thw 500 discount, we would have made the drive!

floor mats were included in the price.
It had every option available already installed, except for the useless dealer add-ons. Now all I have to do is get rid of my disgusting chevrolet aveo, because I know I will get raped if
I try to trade it in.
