Question Breaking in

Is there a certain way to be driving the Fit for the first X miles?
Example ..."Do not exceed 4000 rpm for the first 300 miles" etc etc

I'll check the manual, but if anyone knows ...feel free to answer.

Thanks.

I've found it in the manual.

For the 1st 600 miles:
  • Drive like a granny
  • No hard breaking.
  • No oil changes.

I did one of those hard break ins. So far my fit is doing great, coming up to 14,000miles. I ran her to redline a few times (did not shift hard due to clutch break in.) and I wasnt hard on the brakes either.

When I was taking pics a few days ago my Fit was sitting at idle for a while. My friend revved it and she puffed some blue smoke. Im not really worried because it was sitting for a while on and I also have a cat delete.*shrugs*
