I would like to get my Fit in March. I was wondering for those who ordered a Fit...how long did it take to arrive at your local dealership? Im just debating whether or not to order this month or wait til around xmas time. Thanks Fit Freak.

 

I waited two months for a BBP MT Fit. It was well worth it. As I understand if you order a more common fit (AT silver, etc.) then the dealer will get one that's coming over anyway. That would, of course, be quicker.

 

Took a week to get mine in. SSM AT...It was on a truck from Alabama which I guess is one of the ports from Japan.

 

From deposit/order till delivery - 179 days. Worth the wait!

My SSM Sport 5 speed turned 1 year old two days ago. ZERO problems so far in ~ 16000 miles. I average 36 m/g on 87 octane.

after getting quotes from different dealers i emailed the dealer with lowest quote.got a call from the dealer shortly saying that they just got a new fit, i put a $500 deposit and picked it up the very next day

 

didnt have to wait had my baby in stock! MR MT!!!!!! but my family waited on a hybrid civic 3 months.... could take that long i suppose...

actually i got lucky with mine cuz the guy who was supposed to buy it couldn't wait 2 more days for it to arrive...heheh

 

does anyone know if the wait for '08's is better than it was for the '07's?

it still seems like everyone's waiting a couple months.

 

I got my '08 last month and only had to wait 1 day to have it transported down from another city. If i didn't want the one i got, i would have had to wait 2 weeks for their next shipment from Japan. My dealer could tell me what they were getting and when they were getting them through the end of this year and with certain models they could go into next year and you only needed a small amount to reserve the Fit you want.

 

my dealership has 12 fits in stock right now including a bbp fit sport
