The accolades this car gets just won't stop. The 2nd generation has some big shoes to fill and I'm betting it will.....and then some.

Probably the mythical curtain air bags the Yaris is rumored to be optioned with, lol only problem is NONE of them have them.... sounds like an excellent scam to me.

Maybe Honda should option a fit with a solid steel roll cage, 50 air bags and bullet proof glass.... and then never actually sell it but use the Data for crash test results

Lmao its so true! You put it perfect.
I belonged to a yaris forum for a while, when i was researching on what car to get. Everybody there wanted the airbags..None of them got em, thats the lamest thing a company can do. It really is a big fat scam. Toyota has and is going down hill. Scion, isnt doing the same though. I like Scion, dont really like Toyota as much. But over all, HONDA FTW!!!

hmmm

nice job honda. the awards dont seem to stop for this lil bugger, eh?

i browsed the yaris forums a bit, and the only thing they seemed to be consistently pestering the fit about was the mini minivan look and the price.

I agree with you in the sense that I love my Fit Sport do to the fact that I can fit so many things from groceries, upright wheel chairs, Oxygen tanks to 55Gal Fish Tanks. My other car is a 92 Civic Si D16z6

After being t-boned on the driver's side of my fit by a ford E350 going 15, I would have to believe that Honda has put some serious thought into this car's safety.. All i needed to replace were the door panels and that's it. Anyone who can tell me those 2-door tuna cans are safer and keep a straight face must have no soul (or be a toyota dealer )

Yes, i am positively appalled by toyota's behaviour as of late. So much so, that I'm actually starting to think Bob "Putz" over at GM has a better grasp of what his customers want than Jim Press & Yuki Funo do!!
