Rear wiper washer

i know how to work the wipers, and the washer. . . jsut not the back windshield washer. its raining here, and im bugged that its super dirty, and Im stupid that i dont know how to work my car.

Can anyone tell me how to use the rear windshield washer? I can only get the wiper moving but not the washer.

I know the front washer goes on when you pull it towards you. but i dont know how the back works.

I searched the forums around and didnt find any info. If someone can find me the thread, or tell me how to do it here, Id really appreciate it.

Thanks

I don't own a Fit but is there like a circle dial on the right stick to use your rear wipers? If so try turning it way up or down to squirt the washer.

yeah on the right stick of the wheel. where you turn down for the rear windshield wipers go one more down to where there should be a symbol representing the washer. Thatll get the washer fluid over there

Page 70 - 71 in your manual, Dude. Twist it past 'ON' to get fluid and wiper action, twist it the opposite way to get fluid only.

i'm having a problem with the rear washer fluid though... it just squirts too far out and misses the car entirely! the fluid does not even touch one inch of the rear window! instead, it shoots out and lands on the ground behind the car! i think it even misses the rear bumper as well! maybe something is wrong with my rear nozzle? am i not doing it properly??? what do you guys think? please help me!!! i'm a noob with cars!

It's either out of adjustment, or something is partially clogging the nozzle(s). Have the dealer fix it if it's under warranty.

That's hilarious, there is probably something clogging the nozzle.

soooo, i ended up talking to the dealership where i bought the car (i just got it at the end of april - it's a used 2007). they were really cool about it. they ordered the little nozzle thing for me and i just went in yesterday to get it replaced. they fixed it and i was out of there within 30-40 mins. no hassles and i didn't have to pay anything! i explained that it was broken when i bought the car (which it was) but someone posted, on another thread, there was a service bulletin about this same issue... so i guess even if i had broken it myself, they still would've fixed it.

anyway, problem solved and the dealership was really nice about it. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR RESPONSES!
