that's cause dealers only seldom hire people who know the cars

 

i dont know...if ur really gonna be pissed that u couldnt get the new features that the second gen fit is coming out with, you should wait...a lot of ppl on the forum will tell u to get an 08 instead b/c of the looks and what not...but u should just wait anyways and when it comes here in the states u can see it in person and take it out for a test drive, and if u dont like it, get a 1st gen fit, which u can prolly get for a really good price at the time

 

I actually got my car early because I didn't like how the new Fit looks, not that it looks bad or anything, but I guess I'm just used to how the current Fit looks. And who knows if it's really going to be here in '09, maybe they'll decide to skip a year and bring the new design to the US in '10. I also read the new Fits do not come with a spare, just a can of fix a flat. Don't know if it's true, or maybe it's just in Japan, can't trust everything you see on the Internet.

 

Car salesman will say whatever it takes to get you to buy now. The dealer rep you spoke to was obviously trying to con you because all the car sites are saying that the redesigned 09' Fit will arrive this fall.

 

actually i did read in at least one place (cant recall exact site) that said it may not arrive until 2009. but certainly logic would say they will arrive this fall. i mean, how long has any model remained in production after the newer model has already been sold elsewhere?

 

yes you should because the 2nd gen Fit will be totally different with a better engine and a redefined chassis. you can't go wrong
