rear window issue

here's the scoop:

i was hit by a truck in my fit several months ago. i had it repaired by the dealer... this included 2 new door panels and some straightening of the rqp.

yesterday, my rear window stopped working (this is about a month or two after the work has been completed.)

my car has 39k miles on it, so i'm out of warranty.

since i did the body work at my dealer, what kind of luck should i expect trying to fix it on their coin? i was thinking of going in and having the recall work done with the window issue.

i work for a dealer, but i don't deal so much with body work; what kind of warranties do they usually offer on their workmanship?

If its within a month i they should fix it..Or even two months, they should fix the probelem. Take it back to them and see what they say, it could be a quik fix.

Check your paperwork...it should be under a repair warranty.
Many repairs of significance are, especially from the dealer from my experience...
good luck...

i figured they would have to have some sort of warranty, my insurance company took most of the paperwork, so i really had nothing to go off of...

i set up the appointment today, we'll see what happens.

+1 SC Acura had warranty on any parts and labor they did that I think was either 6 or 12 months. So if they replaced say your alternator and in less than a year it goes poof, they fix it for free. But this might vary from location to location...
