Head Unit Light
Well, I just got a 2008 Fit after someone totaled my 2007.
But one thing I noticed on this one is, when I turn my headlights on, the radio is dimmed quite a bit. Now I dont remember this being the case in my old Fit. I mean, doesnt it make sense that when you turn you headlights on, the radio should get brighter, seeing as how you are probably driving at night?
Is anyone else's like this? Or should I go and see me dealer?

off by turning your odo dial so that it does not dim.
if you dont dim at night, it's going to appear even brighter vs during
the day cause your surrounding is darker.

If you really want to turn it up, on the odometer reset/trip meter button in the upper right of your dash near the fuel gauge if you turn it clockwise it should brighten the interior lights, counter-clockwise to dim them.
However, like has been stated, normally you'd want them to dim at night. Aside from glaring your windows, if the lights inside your car facing you are too bright, your pupils will contract to restrict light and make it harder to see down the road, conversely to get the best view of the road turning the interior lights as low as they can will make your pupils dialate and allow more light to come in your eye from down the road. Most of the time I have my interior lights all the way down at night time.
