Replacing turn signal bulb (ain't got a manual)
So my used 07 Fit didn't come with it's Owner's Manual.... and for some odd reason the passenger side brake light bulb was gone, and today I found that the front passenger side turn signal bulb is absent as well!
How do I get the headlamp assembly out to replace the bulb?? I think I got the right bulb... WalMart's little bulb computer had the Fit in there for the brake lights, but not the front turn signal bulbs, so I went with the 07 Civic in the menus.
Anyone got a link to the manual online? I found one site listing it, but the links were dead.

Here you go:
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm
There's a thread in the lighting section on how to get to the bulbs. Also some online service manuals you can download in the DIY section.

Just turn your steering wheel until you have clear access to the passengers side fender liner. Once you're able to access the majority of the fender liner on the passengers side you will notice 1 Screw, 1 Clip, and 1 Screw/Clip on the very outside edge of the fender liner running along the top. After you've removed those, just push the liner up and out of the way for clear access to the back of the headlight assembly. This is by far the easiest method for accessing the back of the headlights, and shouldn't take you longer then 5 minutes.

Thanks for the links Peri, although almost all of the ones on the service manual thread are dead, and the Sylvania sight is having issues....
I'll have to try to tackle this when I get home tomorrow... or if it's not too cold in the morning. Looking around, I figured removing the fender liner and getting to the assembly from the rear was how to do it. It DOES seem a little stupid to me that you can't just easily pull out the whole headlamp assembly.
Plus I think I got the wrong bulb....

If it's a 7440 then you'll be just fine.... however, if you did infact purchase one meant for a 2007 Honda Civic then I do believe you have the wrong bulb as if memory serves me that vehicle uses a 3457LL for the front turn signals.

I'm pretty sure I got the 3457. I know it's not the 7440. Stupid thing at WalMart didn't list the Fit under turn signal bulbs. :|
