So I am getting ready to go into school and catch up on some homework. I looked down and noticed on the lower part of the ebrake handle. Where the plastic meets the console it is cracked. WTF? Being that the ebrake shell assembly itself is plastic. I know this car isn't expensive but it kinda of disappointed me. Guess next time I take the car in I will see what the dealer says. Probably going to be SOL on this.

Yeah i know its happened to some people on here.
Check out the Leather Mugen one, it wont crack and it looks great.

Yeah mine cracked and actually broke off (that little flap). I have the Mugen E-Brake boot, so it doesn't bug me much...especially with the JDM center console...you'll never see it hahaha...

But yeah, it's covered under warranty as the plastic becomes very brittle when exposed to cold temperatures...

 

Dealer replaced mine without question

well -48 here in Calgary yesterday so mine just simply broke when I lowered the parking brake. I didn't do it hard and the car has like 1200kms on it. I've only had it for a month and already something broken

That is some very poor design...

Anyone have that link to the mugen part? Should have my new jdm console in a week

Just bugs me cause I know its cracked. I will talk to the dealer when I go there next week to get the recall done.
