ok thanx, because a kid at work was telling he reflashed his car after he had CAI/H/E thats why i was asking you guys if you've done it...

i wouldn't mind putting in a vafc if there's one available for our cars.
the car runs too rich at wot, imho.

anyone have any hookup instructions on the 08's?

hmmmm

that brings me to this question lol. the 09 will have the same engine....so but acceleration is quicker. so i wonder if you can reflash the gen1s with the gen2 computer specs when they come to america?

you know i heard about that. a lot of dudes around here say they reflashed there car. but when i asked them how they did it, they told me all they did was disconnect the battery. and when they plug it back in the ob2 reflashes itself and corrects the air fuel ratio from the intake.


i dont know if its true. but thats what i hear all the time

that sounds more like a reset than a reflash. reflash means you
reprogram the ECU's map settings.

I think the 09 has a bigger i-VTEC engine.

It's not bigger but it does have i-vtec so it's not the same engine at all.

I have not heard of any software able to reflash the Fit's ecu.

The closest I have heard is Hasport running 2 ecus, the stock one for the gauges and normal car opration and a jumper with a kpro for a k series engine.

I have not heard of them finalizing this yet though.
