Post just got my fit

I've been doing my homework hardcore since my 95 subaru legacy sedan gave out on me, I kept hearing things about the fit, and the car is rly nice. So I looked around and finally budged and got one.

I first went for a 08 Sport w/ MT new, they wanted like 20k out the door with taxes.
so i ended up with a used 07 sport AT with 3300mi. for 14.5k w/ tint, and some minor detailing + over night ionizer to get out previous smoker smell. Over in financing the guy threw in alarm, gap insurance, and some OEM mats for 2$ less a month than what i agreed on with the sleezy shark salesman.

I have signed and dotted all the papers now, but havent driven it off the lot, not until tmo. I know the deal isnt final til I drive away technically.

Does anyone see a catch to this buy I'm not seeing, gotta get a second opinion before I walk away.

thats her. so um yes no?
thx n__n

That sounds legit dude. Very nice deal actually! Id be all over it. Car has no scratches or big dents right? As long as nothing too bad is wrong go for it!

Question

ridiculously minor scuffs on the back bumper and front passenger side rim.
pretty serious on the rim.

plus i dont know if an AT will be as fun as the MT. the paddle shifters have like an automatic downshift I thought. I could be wrong, plus theres more aftermarket for MT.

Otherwise. I'm in love./ where can I get a fitfreak.net decal? anyone?

Actually you would be suprised that aftermarket is about even for the MT and AT.
Yeah the paddles and S mode are a blast. Very addicting!

Contact Modertaor Illusive for decal info.

Question

Thanks man

lastly,

Simply for fun. if I got a SRI intake to replace the terrible looking stock box, would i have to worry about back pressure? / has anyone had back pressure issues and had to swap out the exhaust?

I picked up my new 08 Sport MT for 16,700 out the door INCLUDING 6.5% Fla sales tax and the $110 plate transfer fee. It had Honda carpet mats and pin strips door edge guards.
If it's not to late you could get new one for $3000 less easy, but not at that dealer.

mm i wish.

no one wanted to give me a sale at less than 16k and thats without TTL D:
they see a 19 year old and $$$ D:

"supposedly" their purchase invoice was a little under 16k for the AT
didn't see the MT invoice.

I'm jealous of your buy.

go to edmunds.com and get a true market value price for a new M/T fit. In MD, I paid $15,200 before tax and tags for a 5MT Sport with pinstripes. Your age makes no difference. You can also get a True market value for the used fit you're looking at. Only advice I'd give you right now (hope it's not too late), is that if you're an MT driver, don't get the AT. It's essentially got 10 less wheel horsepower (AT=80hp; MT=90hp) and, IMHO isn't as fun to drive. Get what you want. Don't let the dealer bully you! Of course, the deal you've got seems legit...I'm more concerned about you settling for an AT than anything else. Welcome to Fitfreak!!

the 07 fit sport comes with a factory alarm but dont know how good it is..
are they giving you a tank of gas.
sounds like not too bad of deal..they give you any kind of warranty with it?
