honda fit Worth it?

hey guys im trying to sell my EG, So a guy and his dad gave me a deal. He said he would pay me 3500 cash and get me a hook up on a brand new fit, because his dad has worked internet sales for awhile. Do you think thats a good idea? he said he could get a 1,000 or more off the msrp.

Thanks in advance

Get the "deal" in writing so if you get screwed over with the "discount" on the new fit.

Is he willing to pay you more for the EG if he can't get you a good discount on the new ride?

well i figure if he cant get me a good discount i have other people waiting to check it out. Also i figure he can help me get the Fit first to see if i can get a good discount and then i would sell him the car.

just make sure everything is all good before you drop...(as in not gunna change)

That is a great deal!!! Doooooo it
BTW the supposed diff between MSRP and Invoice on our rides is about max 650 buckaroos. A tiny bit more....to about bit less (like 150) depending on what trim.

it sounds good to me, but get it in writing.

the fit has a weird invoice. unlike other cars, its not that much less than msrp, which i guess honda had to do, since it doesn't really make that much profit (if any) for them.

this is the reason why a lot of honda dealers wont really negotiate on price. i bet people who buy the next gen fit in its 3rd or 4th year will get awesome deals compared to what gen 1 guys like us get.

but still go for it.

as long as stuff is in writing, u wont get screwed. no one can really tell you if its a good deal or not since everyone's budget is different. Its what you feel if you got a good deal or not.
