Rather Noobish Quesion

I know this has probably ask and answered millions of time. It's time to change my oil and i can't the oil filter use. I guess the car is to new. What kind of oil filters do you guys use? I have a 2008 FIT sport MT. I hope that this helps.

Buy an oil filter wrench from a parts store, or strap wrench from a hardware store.

Sorry man, I misunderstood. "I can't the oil filter use" looked like you might mean "I can't get the oil filter loose".

buy an oem filter from the dealership, and for the record all newer honda's (aside from the s2000) use the same filter. I guess that statement does not apply if you're driving a Honda vehicle that was not designed and built by honda though (passport, and the big ugly as acura suv)

You might want to edit your initial post to make it easier to understand.
(although I think its a bit late...but anywho...)

And indeed as said before I would just go to the dealer and pick up an OEM one.

good luck

7317 is a pretty standard size, I used the Walmart Supertech filters on my old Civic... they're made at Champion Labs (same place that makes the Mobil 1 stuff)

Filters are Fram and readily available at WalMart for about $3-4. I want to say 7311 but memory fails me look it up in the application book.

WIX or NAPA Gold are the best oil filters IMHO

If you believe the websites where they cut the filters apart that is. According to the WIX website, oil filter 51356 fits the Fit. WIX has the air filter and cabin air filter as well. The filters are the same just sold under a different brand name. WIX is hard to find and usually costs more. NAPA Gold filters can be found at any NAPA store obviously.
