Its really hard to wrap my mind around the jobs that people in the armed forces do. jdjohnson9, you have much respect from me.

I've seen a few Fits around San Diego with the USMC seal on the back. Props to those Marines for driving such a cool car.

Joshua,
if you ever get sent to SF Bay Area, don't be a stranger. Let us know. PM Dave, me, or somebody. We would love to meet you in person and hang out.
Also, PM Dave or myself your "address" overseas. I know that you and your crew will have very limited access to internet if at all and I know how much a letter or a package can cheer you guys up on a long and distant deployment. Just let us know what would you guys like us to send you.
I have no doubt Bay Area Freaks will all get on it as well.

When you do get deployed, I will have you on my mind just as I have everybody already there since this entire shebang started. Just this time I will finally know somebody for real by name.

I wish our fearless leaders would send their sons and daughters overseas in harms way as well instead of hiding them. Then they would think twice about sending you guys in every hole in the world that "needs you", instead of also picking locations that get them funding for re-elections and toping off their overseas accounts. Those locations are not worth yours and your families sacrifices. Not even if it was just your time away from your family, period!

Please do not turn this thread into an argument between "for and against". That was not my intention. I deviated enough from the purpose of the thread myself.

Thank you Joshua! Godspeed to you and your unit where ever you guys currently are or will be months from now.
We will be thinking of you and waiting for your return.

Ivan

Wow you all are truly amazing. You have no idea what support like this does to me. Im at a loss for words right now. The fact that nobody on her really knows me but is so appreciative and caring for pretty much a stranger is just awesome. I would truly love to meet all of you and thank you myself in person but the chances of that happening is of course slim to none. I will def keep everyone informed of my tour and think of all the truly amazing members of Fitfreak for all that they have done for me. Again from the bottom of my heart thank you all for your support. Im sorry for keeping these short but i am truly at a lose for words.
