I looked at the one from Overnightautoparts. It's $99 for just the front bumper and then another $157 for the hood and mirrors...if I'm reading it right.
I found complete 3M kits on ebay for a lot less...
eBay Motors: 2007 2008 HONDA FIT GENUINE 3M CLEAR BRA (item 220091016467 end time Apr-03-08 16:38:42 PDT)
I'd really like to get one also...anyone try installing one themselves?

The only problem with the clear bra's for the hood of car's is I've heard from people that over time they will slightly discolor the hood a yellowish/white(maybe from the heat). On the other hand they seem safe for the bumper's.
Hmm...I hadn't heard that, but that would suck! My hood is chipping worse than my bumper. The rubber seems to absorb some of the impact and I'm sure that paint has flex agent while the hood just chips.
I also think calling a tint shop would be a good idea since i've seen many that also install clearbras.
i've never heard of clearbras discoloring paint though. if anything, shouldn't they help prevent paint fade because they act as an additional filter of the sunlight before it reaches the paint?
edit: oh actually, do you mean the clearbra discolors into a yellowish white? then that makes a little more sense. but i've never heard of that either. plus i've had the clear 3m protectant on my headlights and foglights for about 1.5 years now and they look as clear to me now as they did when they were installed.

If your hood is being beat up by alot of rock's,I would say go for it(I would). As for the discoloration,I think because the paint can't breath that well under the film,it fade's the paint over time and the sun beating on it will not help. The film itself is going to slightly yellow over time, but it's no big deal.I live in Florida,so I don't know what it does on car's that don't get direct sunlight(and 100% humidity) almost all the time. The leather bra's will discolor the paint underneath 100%,and that's why I couldn't find one through Mercede's for my CLK-500.
