pedal alignment

I got my manual Fit a couple of weeks ago. I find that if my seat is close enough to fully depress the clutch, I am too close to be comfortable using the accelerator. I have been thinking about trying to get some type of extender for the clutch. Any ideas?

definitely weird spacing on the pedals and steering wheel. After much fiddling and measuring, I've found that keeping the seat in a more upright position with the seat further back...I can reach everythnig properly and still steer the car. My right foot is now comfortable and plenty of reach to get the clutch in.

Once I stopped trying to get the seat in a position similar to my other cars, I was able to find a comfortable compromise.

Pedal extensions are available for vehicles. Theyre blocks of aluminum that are clamped onto the pedals giving anywhere from 1in to probably 4in extra.

Not sure, but you may need a prescription as theyre for handicapped people.

Is your right leg shorter than your left? If so than you'll need a block for the pedal. If not than there shouldn't be any problems... You don't need to push the clutch all the way to the floor.
