Classic in the Making
Classic in the Making
I have a MR Sport (manual) on order, to arrive in April. I ordered the car now so that I could get an '08, rather than waiting for the '09, in part based on seeing photos of the new model. I like the lines of the older generation car a lot better. It looks sturdy and functional. The new one seems too futuristic to me. (I must admit that the more photos I see, the more I grudgingly concede that it has its own charm.)
One of the cool things about driving a Fit is that there have been relatively few of them sold so far in the US -- though it's apparent that Honda underestimated the market here for these efficient, jazzy little hatchbacks. You own a Fit, you stand out. And that's the way it will continue to be with the older model, especially if Honda sells tons of the new ones.
So if you have a first-generation Fit, count yourself lucky. It will become a classic. Take good care of your car and enjoy it for the many years it ought to give you.

I'm just planning, to keep the car till it dies, then I'll do a motor swap. Hehehe
Hayabusa V8 engine - The Kneeslider
. I think that is a very practical swap
