why dose noone roll CF hoods?
CF hoods are usually associated with boy racers and should be avoided. This is a $16K car guys, no reason to drop a $1K hood on the thing. Most people see a CF hood (black) and think the car had a cheap repair on it and couldn’t afford the paint. It falls under this philosophy:

ahhh... I'm a ricer with my cf hood

don't worry about other people's opinions do what you want, I know I want a cf hood for the Fit
I would shoot myself before putting a CF hood on my IS350, my old Sti, S2000's, Acuras or even my old DOHC VTEC Hondas in the past. Im just pointing out that 95% of the public has no idea that the hood on your Integra is CF and think its simply a new hood that you were to cheap to paint.

That brings up though who are you building the car for? I don't give a shit what other people think about what I do to my car, I do things to my car that are functional or that I think look good. I don't do things because I think some slut at the gas station thinks its nice, or knows that its JDM. Who gives a shit what the general public thinks about your car, because at the end of the day some douchebag in the parking spot next to you is still going to give you a door ding, why because he doesn't care.
i had a cf hood and it was great. it was SUPER light compared to my oem hood.
but in the long run, GEEEZ it take a lot of maintenance to keep up with carbon fiber. like, i guess people say its the same as the painted hoods.
but i tried to keep my car from day light, so it wouldnt destroy the clear coat and what not.
i like it, but i got mad at the carbon fiber when i snapped 2 lips...so im over it now.

yea my CF hood on my hatch was super hard to keep from the sun destroying it after about 2 yrs the clear was gone on it then it looked like shit but the hood had already had about 2yrs on it befor i go it from somone so i guess it had its days, but the one im getting has the scoops on it so its not gonna look like i was just to cheap to pain my black aftermarket replacment hood as much as a OEM one would. even the OEM one looks nice look at the SSM in the May 08 Honda Tuning car looks sick with a CF hood but i guess like a few people said everyone has there IMO.

seriously though I don't agree with suicide.
I'm not one to argue on the net... extremely pointless, but 95%?
95% is such a obscure generaliztion, ya most people don't know what carbon fiber is, but I could say 95% of my public (Tampa) knows about cf hoods, its rice boy Florida. My wife agrees with most you cf haters thats why I bought a nhbp Fit so the cf would match the daily driver.
Also on a side note, my hood IS painted, the pics don't do it justice but there is six coats house of kolor chameleon mixed with clear, so when the sun hits it its is red and it changes with the amount of light, and that loud sssssssssssss as I roll by lets people now i'm not cheap, specialy those high dollar luxry car owners that can't keep up.
in conclusion to each their own, but buy the carbon fiber hood you know you want it.

Worst excuse ever for not to do something you enjoy or think is cool: "I'm concerned about what other people will think of me..."
Good luck on your decision. There are some pretty tough arguments, but in the end whichever one you decide to get. I'm pretty sure you're going to like it. I'm still driving on a stock Fit
. After my modded Fit was totalled from an accident.

Why not just wrap it in some Carbon fiber vinyl, easy to apply and when it gets scratched or old, just replace it?

I thought about doing this, cf hoods cost money and require maintenance. Whatever floats your boat I guess!
