i mod my fit because i know it has more potential than most cars on the road. this has been proven by opak racing, spoon sports, a&j racing, kraftwerks, and a ton of other very reputable companies. being fast and going fast are two different things. the fit will never be fast but it sure as hell can go fast!

Yeah, his car's only been featured in the latest Siphon. What a total loser.
Anyway, +1 more w/ kelsodeez. A well modded Fit can hand the ass to a lot of "better" cars in many ways. Maybe not on the straights, but in the curves it rules. Search for 'noblesse fit' on youtube to see for yourself. In my case, the Fit is a learning tool -- I've never modded anything prior to it, but always wanted to, hence it's my guinea pig, so to speak. Also, compared to many cars, it's fairly cheap to mod, and that has it's benefits as well. One last attraction, for me at least, is that it has an extremely large JDM owner base with LOTS of serious modders, and I really enjoy the friends and connections I've made by participating in the JDM user groups the last 2 yrs.

people will do what they want with THEIR money...you asked others not to flame this post but this post is just asking to be flamed...its the same argument about why people drop 15K on a car to run 12's that is a DD or weekend track warrior...or better yet...the people that DUMP $$$ in their cars with EVERY go fast, look good, sit right part known to man to NEVER drive it and just make it into a trailor whore or "show only" car that MIGHT be driven a lil more than 100 times a year.
sorry not trying to start anything just making a point that this thread is useless... you should have asked "what did you do to your fit to make it better and why?"

everyone here makes a good point. the best idea IMO is to keep it stock or just bolt ons and have an ALL FIT or ALL SUB COMPACT cup race with friends at a local track. then its not about who's CAR is the fastest, but rather what DRIVER is the fastest. skill will always outshine engineering. i hate to sound like some "initial D" fan, but its true. ive watched drivers come back from impossible odds, only to take the checkered flag. our cars (the fit) are absolutely fun to drive. let's not concentrate too much on our speed. besides its WAAAAAYYYY more fun to pass some jerk in a yaris around a compound double "R" than to dump five grand into an engine and still only have 140-160hp. well at least that's my opinion. lol

'07 VBP Sport w/ minor appearance & comfort mods!
lol graduated high school a year early went to college then to Universal technical institute. i am now a ASE master certified auto tech with a first place show wining sponsored magazine car. not to brag or anything but what do you do WONTFIT...???
I mod for handling as significant changes to the engine just don't happen without screwing up emissions: if it performs better on track with less effort and results in faster laps times, its successful. But there is a place for show. Its like red Hondas (motorcycles) vs Harleys.
Both have a place. As long as you don't do dumb things either place.
cheers.

Fit Mods !
People who drive Honda Fits generally love their cars (much more than people with normal cars and trucks) so many Fit owners mod their cars to make them faster, look cooler, look more JDM, etc.
It's cool!
It's cool!
