Id deff say so... There HAS to be frame damage going on there.
You may get lucky. However, I dont think Id want my car if the damage looked that bad.

Sorry dude. :-(

You ok at least? Thats a massive hit.

Damn sorry to see that your Fit is right ****ed. Looks like it could be totaled just by the way the rear doors are buckling out, but then again I'm always surprised at what they can fix nowadays. What does your insurance consider as "totaled?" I think a lot of places say 60% of the car's value in damage is a write off.

I'm not sure what % cost my insurance considers it totalled at. I have Mercury, if anyone else knows. I have to wait til Monday to take it to a shop (it still drives fine!) and I'm still waiting for the Adjuster to call me.

I'm fine except for some aches today. Every 5 hours or so a new muscle decides to act up a bit and swell. Nothing too painful at all.

holy crap! i agree with everyone here... it may look ok and runs ok but the frame is already damage. and you dont want a car with frame damage. glad to know your doing fine.

Youll feel the real paint tomorrow. I remember when I got rear ended in my Mx-6 years ago.
I was fine on the scene and when I got home due to adrenaline. The next morning I was full of pain.

Damn that thing looks totaled to me. One good thing, looks like the interior held up damn good, which makes me feel good since I have kids in the back pretty much every day.

I'm going to agree with everyone else it's most likely totaled.
Fixable but being a base (lower price point compare to how much it cost to fix) I doubt Mercury would want to.
It's good that you weren't seriously injured.

Yeah I'm pretty happy about how this little car took the damage. This was probably a 5 thousand pound van at ~35mph. I don't have kids yet but I was thinking the same thing. If there were people in the back they'd be fine.

Och! That hurts to even look at! I would be surprised if it is not totaled out but hope that it works out and you will be back on
the road in good time. Just glad that you were not hurt as bad
as the little Fit!

Most likely it looks like a goner. Frame damage is not cheap to fix. I feel ya man. The same thing happened to me earlier this year. The airbag sensors are in t
he front so airbags don't go on unless it's triggered there. DID THE FREAKING DRIVER BEHIND YOU EVEN PRESSED THE BRAKES? Because this looks like you got
hit harder than I did. Also, I see that you got pushed forward into the car in front. Same thing happened to me! I don't mean to thread jack, but here's a picture
that awfully looks familiar. It was my old one.

BOOOOOO TO BAD DRIVERS!!!!!!!!! I'm glad that you're safe though. I hope everything works out for you at the end.

I think it's possible they may fix. Had the front end been involved it's a complete different story.
